Besides being the Director of World Intellectual Property Organization's (WIPO) Worldwide Academy & Division of Human Resources Development, Dr. Sinjela is also a visiting Professor of Intellectual Property law, Law Faculty, University of Lund, Sweden and International Law and Human Rights at Raoul Wallenberg Institute, Sweden

Mpazi holds the follwing qualifications:
JSD (Doctor of the Juridical Science of Law Degree), Yale Law School, USA
LLM, Yale School of Law, USA
LLB, University of Zambia School of Law.

Dr. Sinjela is also a Co-Director, Master Course on Intellectual Property jointly offered by the University of Turin and the WIPO Worldwide Academy, Turin, Italy.
