Dr. Richard Mbewe, winner of the 2011 Economics Award of the Mwape Peer Awards in New York City, is one of Poland's leading economists. He is a lecturer of international economics and marketing at various universities in Poland. Since August 2000, he was employed as the Chief Economist of the Warsaw Investment Group (WGI) S.A. - Poland's leading private forex management company. Currently he is now the Chief Executive Officer & Managing Partner at Atria Real Estate Partners in Warsaw.

Dr Mbewe's economic commentaries are widely quoted in various media including TV, radio and business dailies. He is a member of the Advisory Council to the Minister of Foreign Affairs on foreign economic policy, among other memberships. He is the co-organizer for the Poland Roadshow Conferences aimed at promoting Poland in the EU countries.
Richard and his family live in Warsaw, Poland since early 1984. He is a role model of what one can achieve through hard work and determination regardless of location.

Dr.Munyma who started his career in 1987 working as a Junior Economist for the Poznan International Fair up to 1988 when joined the Ministry of Commerce and Industry in Lusaka, Zambia as an Economist was elected Member of Parliament in Poland on October 9, 2011.

From 1993 to 1997 taught English language to high school students at the Grodzisk Secondary School in Grodzisk, Poland. After that he became a Lecturer of International Finance,International Financial Institution Operations, and Developing Country Financing at the High Institute of Management and Banking in Poznan, Poland from 1998 through 2000.

He worked as Tutor/Lecturer at Poznan University of Economics where he lectured in Banking, International Finance and Internation Financial Institutions from 1994 to 2003.

In 2003, he became Lecturer of EU financing, economic integration, SME in the EU and international financial institutions at the same Institution, a position he still holds. He is also been a Director at the Murico Services Finance and Consulting Company since 1992.

He was elected Councillor for the Grodzisk District Council in 2002 and still holds that position. He is also currently a Senior Lecturer at the Poznan University of Economics from 2003.
