James, Natasha and Ruth had an opportunity to go inside NASA, in top secret and supper sensitive areas that's normally not open to members of the general public include. We had a briefing by NASA Engineers about the latest International Space Station, saw the Japanese Aerospace Experiment Module with Japanese technicians, who hardly spoke English working on it. Went all the area to Launch Pad, saw the Discovery Shuttle on it and the crawler-transporter the largest moving "vehicle" I have ever seen. We on the space shuttle simulation and felt just like Astronaut feel during launch traveling thousands of miles per hour! This experience helped me appreciate science, scientists, and NASA itself. I still remember a former student of mine who always wanted to join NASA as an Astronaut. She is now finishing her first degree at MIT. Please, see some of our pictures below and click on them to enlarge, some areas cameras are not allowed.
