Dr. Mwansa joined The Royal Bank of Scotland in Japan in February, 2007, as the Asia Pacific Head of Trading Infrastructure Services. Prior to that he was a Vice President at Goldman Sachs. He has also worked at WestLB Systems GmbH, Tokyo Branch as a Director (Regional Head of IT Infrastructure Asia Pacific). Customer Services Engineer at Credit Suisse First Boston Securities in Japan, and Application Specialist and Network Manager (Japan) at Dassault Systeme K.K. in Japan. His specialties include Network design, IT vendor management, IT Infrastructure Management, Multi disciplinary IT project management. Prior to moving to Japan in 1991 to study for his Masters and PhD degrees, he worked for a computer company in Lusaka for one year after graduating from UNZA.
